Network Explorer 6.0.2 for Android

Network Explorer Description: Network Explorer is an easy-to-use and simple app that discovers Wi-Fi networks, devices connected to your Wi-Fi network, and available Bluetooth devices in close proximity.

Wi-Fi Networks

This feature scans for Wi-Fi access points. The information displayed for each Wi-Fi access point includes the following:

- a "signal level" icon that shows the relative strength of the signal name
- the Wi-Fi network name
- a description of the authentication, key management, and encryption schemes supported by the access point
- the manufacturer of the Wi-Fi network router
- the channel the access point is advertising for clients to use

A real-time graph displays the signal strength of the Wi-Fi network.

Wi-Fi Devices

This feature scans the Wi-Fi network for connected devices. The information displayed for each networked device includes the following:

- an icon usually representing the logo of the manufacturer of the network device
- IP address of the network device
- MAC address of the network device
- the manufacturer of the network device

The port scanning feature allows you to scan a network device for open ports.

Bluetooth Devices

This feature scans for available Bluetooth devices. The information displayed for each Wi-Fi access point includes the following:

- an icon usually representing the Bluetooth device type or category
- name of the Bluetooth device
- MAC address of the Bluetooth device
- the manufacturer of the Bluetooth device
- an icon usually representing the logo of the manufacturer of the Bluetooth device
