Losing a dog is an incredibly difficult experience, one no one should have to go through. But it happens. A back door is left open. Fireworks are set off. A harness breaks. Whatever the case may be, YOU need help and we’re here to give it to you.

FindShadow is a community-led organization that harnesses the power of thousands of volunteers to reunite dogs with their families, using videos, photo-matching technology, and an extensive photographic database of lost and found dogs in greater NYC/NJ. Photos are updated based on real-time information from shelters, foster families, and more.

Did you lose a dog? Did you find one on the street? Or maybe you’re just someone who wants to help dogs and people in need?

Regardless of your situation, our app has the tools necessary to make it happen. We create street fliers for you to print and post. We provide moral support and detailed instructions to help bring dogs home where they belong. We’re with you every step of the way, every leg of your search, and we’re dedicated to saving dogs’ lives.
