Battery Widget now comes as an app with a live battery widget included so you can conduct a quick battery condition check anytime. To install the widget onto your home screen, go to “Menu” or tap and hold on your home screen -> Add -> Widgets -> Battery Widget.
Additional permissions are required to accurately monitor app and device battery stats, and for the “Quick Toggles,” which allow you to easily control your device settings and optimize your battery directly from within Battery Widget.
