Whether it's a weekend of rock climbing or a quick drink after work, you spend a lot of time coming up with fun activities to do with your friends. Cast makes hanging out as easy as sending a message — really.

Plan an event by typing a short description and selecting some friends. You'll all be launched into a group chat to work out the details, and you can collaboratively change the event or extend more invites. Your friends don’t even need to have the app.

Cast has the ease of use of group texting, but without the pain. Important information such as who's in and who's out, where you're going, and when you're supposed to be there is “pinned” to the top of the screen so it doesn't get lost in the conversation. Best of all, if you can’t make it, you can simply decline and you won’t get any more notifications.

Do some of your friends not have Cast yet (or worse, not have a smartphone)? You can invite them anyway, and they can chat and RSVP through their regular texting app. Even though they don’t have the app, they can still decline to remove themselves from the chat.

Cast is the simplest way to coordinate activities with your friends. Cast: Simply hang out.

Permissions:
Contacts - You need to be able to invite your friends
Location - We auto-complete the names of places that are near you
SMS - We verify your identity via a text message, no password required
Photos/Media - You can take and share photos in the app
