WHO ARE THE COUNSELORS?
Regain counselors are licensed, trained, experienced, and accredited psychologists (Ph.D/Psy.D), marriage and family therapists (MFT), clinical social workers (LCSW),and licensed professional counselors (LPC). All of them have a Master’s Degree or a Doctorate Degree in their field. They have been qualified and certified by their state professional licensing board by successfully completing the necessary education, exams, training and practice.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
On ReGain, you and your counselor will get a dedicated online "room", which will be your private and secure place to communicate. Your partner will be invited to this room as well if you decide to try e-counseling together. This room is open 24/7. You can enter it at any time, from any Internet-connected device wherever you are. In this room, you will write about yourself and your relationship issues, ask questions, and discuss the issues that trouble you. Your counselor will login to the same room, read your messages and respond with feedback, insights and guidance. This ongoing communication is the basis of your work with your counselor.

If you choose to try e-counseling on ReGain with your partner (either at the start of counseling or if you choose to invite them later), your dialogue would be between all three of you: you, your partner, and your counselor. Together you will work towards making a positive change in your relationship and accomplishing your goals.

HOW MANY SESSIONS CAN I HAVE?
You are not limited in the number of messages ("sessions") you can have with your counselor. The frequency of your sessions vary based on your availability, and the interaction between you and your counselor. For example, some people have 3-4 short interactions every week, while others prefer to have 1 long and thorough session.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
We want to make relationship counseling easy and accessible to everyone, so we created a plan which is simple, predictable, risk-free and affordable.

You can speak with your counselor for an affordable flat fee that includes as much counseling as you need. While face-to-face counseling can cost $150 to $250 for one session, the cost of counseling through Regain ranges from $40 to $70 a week for unlimited access to your counselor.

If you accomplished your goals or if you find it to no longer be helpful for any reason, you can simply cancel the subscription. Canceling is easy and done online - there are no hoops to jump through.
