Because of the removal of the internal editor, if you wish to edit files, you will need to have an editor app installed. An open source editor that has been tested to work with MGit is "Turbo Editor" https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.maskyn.fileeditorpro
but others that support File Providers should also work.
